Great Expectations

So it turns out I'm not the only one who has issues with this guy at work. It seems he bothers a lot of folks. I wanna say it's nothing personal, except that's exactly what it is. His personality really grates on me. I thought I was being unfair to him, but it's nice to find out I'm not alone in my distress.

I try very hard and usually succeed in treating him in an entirely professional manner. It's just he can be very stubborn and bossy and hard to communicate with. He has poor listening skills. Or at least I think so. You say stuff and he's just ignores it and goes on with what he's talking about.

It's a shame. He was hired for a very specific skillset and I"m really beginning to doubt that he actually has it. I want him to be able to do what he advertises himself and being able to do. I'd prefer to just deal with him and have him be good at his job than be rid of him because he's a bullshit artist. The business I work for really needs what he claims to know.

But if a whole bunch of people dislike you there's probably some amount of truth to it. All those different people can't all be wrong about you. It's a shame. Even though I'm not his biggest fan I really did want him to succeed at his job. I imagine everyone who works there with me feels the same way. We need him to succeed. Or a miracle to occur. One or the other. Whichever the universe happens to have handy.
