Health Care Crisis

Let me start off by saying that I'm no fan of Obamacare. And if you're from the South or California,  let me also explain that Obamacare and the Affordabel Health Care Act are one in the same.

That being said, I don't understand republican politicians extreme hatred for it.

I dislike it because forcing people to buy something is always wrong. Freedom means being able to choose. To have it or to not have it. If you wish to offer me a low cost health care that is fine. But if you're going to tell me I have to purchase it, that is uttterly wrong. That is not freedom in any sense of the word.

But republicans of this era cater to the wealthy and their interests. So why would the wealthy be harmed or inconvenienced by pirchasing low cost health care? I guess I've answered my own question. They don't want the health insurance of the plebes. They want something better or mroe elite. They also don't want to pay extra tax dollars to fund health care for those who are poor and want the low cost alternative.

I guess I just don't understand why if you have all that money it's such a horror to give a little bit of it to help those less fortunate. It's not like you're going to run out of money. You have so much money that it simply replicates itself.

Why have a country at all? Why not just have every family be an individual  nation. Every man for himself. Let's just disolve the union. We can all be like dogs in packs. Barking and snarling at each other. Except Instead of dead elk carcass, it'll be clumps of money we kill for.  Heck, that's pretty much how it already is.

Some people will really see an improvement via Obamacare. They'll spend less and get a more reasonable form of health care. Good for them. They probably deserve it. The people crying about it won't likely be affected at all. Cheapskates that they are. If they are forced to spend a little more they won't like feel it. But there are always those that get lost in the cracks. Those that aren't low enough to reap the benefits and aren't high enough not to feel the pinch.

But it's funny how when it comes time to pay more or pay extra, it's rarely the have nots that complain. it's always the people who have plenty that whine about giving a slightlyu larger portion away.

This health care plan is pretty shitty. But it's curious how those that deride it the most won't really be affected.

They should just rebrand AHA as a charity to support unwed teenage mothers and the gun lobby. That would probably fool them.
