Evolving Asthetics

I read a lot on the internet about women going without makeup. Which is curious to me. Since I haven't worn makeup since around the 8th grade.

I don't see what the big deal is all about. Your natural self is not something to be ashamed of or to hide. The idea of showing it off should not be that shocking or alien.

Most men never wear makeup and they somehow manage to survive.

The very idea that women not wearing makeup is so groundbreaking is utterly absurd and counterproductive to the movement it seeks to promote.

People look the way they look. For better or worse. Concealing or masking that is only perpetuating a lie.

I've never understood the concept of cosmetics. For one thing, they cost way too much. For another, they only aggravate an existing problem.

Women have a perfection complex. If love is based on such criteria, it isn't really love at all.

Society needs to recognize the beauty in the average.
