Origami Learning Resources

A compilation of some of the websites that have been incredibly helpful in my journey  learning origami over the years. People all over the world, from all walks of life, have taken the time to freely share their knowledge with others. Art in any form, is a communal experience. Art unites us as a species. No boundaries. No divisions. Just humans sharing that creative spark.

Happyfolding.com: Sara Adams has taught me so much. If not for her, I'd probably still be stuck on the basics.

Origami-Instructions.com: The very first site where I learned about the basics. It laid the foundation.

Flickr Origami Tessellations Group: A plethora of ideas, crease patterns and inspiration.

Origamee: Origami by Meenakshi: I have a few of her books. I learned a lot from them.

Origami by MichaƂ Kosmulski: He shares his original designs and instructions for creating them.

Eric Gjerde's book on tessellations really woke up something in me. The combination of geometry and art really hit all the right notes for me. I've been obsessed ever since.

Peter Keller. Robin Scholz. Joel Cooper. Arseniy K. They've all been magnificent teachers/inspirations, intentionally or not.

If you're looking to expand your understanding of origami tessellations and paper folding, these are must visits.
